ACT Philosophy

  2. Never promote violence. violence is the worst form of corruption.
    1. Never go to a place where violence is happening.
    2. Never be friend of any one encouraging violence.
  3. It is good to have a better world, if you are in a situation to enjoy it.
    1. Don't endanger your future to improve the world.
  4. If you stand for a reason, be prepared to stand alone like a tree, and if you fall on the ground, fall like a seed that grows back to fight again.
  5. Corruption is the violation of Law
    1. ACT Members should learn the law so that they can obey the law.
    2. ACT Members should function within the law
  6. Corruption is dereliction of duty
    1.  First do your duty,  then only spend on anti corruption activities.
    2. If you are a family, it is your duty to take care of your family  members. Don't involve in any anticorruption activities, that put your family in trouble.
    3. If you have friends, it is your duty to take care of your friends. Don't involve in any anticorruption activities, that put your friends in trouble.
  7. There is very few good people in this world and there is even fewer people to help the good people in need.
    1. If you do something for the good of the world and get in trouble, there will be very few people to help you out.
    2. Many of the good people will not be able to help you, as they are afraid they would also be in trouble.
    3. So always try to be safe.

  9. Here's why you should not GOSSIP.
    1. In Ancient Greece, Socrates had a great reputation of wisdom. One day, someone came to find the great philosopher and said to him:
    2. - Do you know what I just heard about your friend?
    3. - A moment, replied Socrates. Before you tell me, I would like to test you the three sieves.
    4. - The three sieves?
    5. - Yes, continued Socrates. Before telling anything about the others, it's good to take the time to filter what you mean. I call it the test of the three sieves. The first sieve is the TRUTH. Have you checked if what you're going to tell me is true?
      1. - No, I just heard it.
    6. - Very good! So, you don't know if it's true. We continue with the second sieve, that of KINDNESS. What you want to tell me about my friend, is it good?
      1. - Oh, no! On the contrary.
    7. - So, questioned Socrates, you want to tell me bad things about him and you're not even sure they're true? Maybe you can still pass the test of the third sieve, that of UTILITY. Is it useful that I know what you're going to tell me about this friend?
    8. - No, really.
    9. - So, concluded Socrates, what you were going to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor useful. Why, then, did you want to tell me this?
    10. "Gossip is a bad thing. In the beginning it may seem enjoyable and fun, but in the end, it fills our hearts with bitterness and poisons us, too!"
    11. - Pope Francis
  10. Some questions to ask
    1. Are we earning to pay builders and interior designers, caterers and decorators?
    2. Whom do we want to impress with our highly inflated house properties & fat weddings?
    3. Do you remember for more than two days what you ate at someone's marriage?
    4. Why are we working like dogs in our prime years of life?
    5. How many generations do we want to feed?
    6. Most of us have two kids. Many have a single kid.
    7. How much is the "need" and how much do we actually "want"??
    8. Think about it.
    9. Would our next generation be incapable to earn, that we save so much for them!?!
    10.  Can not we spare one and a half days a week for friends, family and self??
    11. Spare time to enjoy before you have slipped discs and large prostates.
    12. We don't own properties, we just have temporary name on documents.
    13. Do not judge a person only by the length of his car.
    14. Let's get a LIFE, before life gets us, instead.
    15. Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded but because they value friendship above money.
    16. Those who take the initiative at work, do so not because they are stupid but because they understand the concept of responsibility..
    17. Those who apologise first after a fight, do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them.
    18. Those who are willing to help you, do so not 'b'cos they owe you any thing but b'cos they see you as a true friend.
    19. Those who often text you, do so not because they have nothing better to do but because you are in their heart.
    20. Those who take out time to chat with you, does not mean they are jobless or less busy, but they know the importance of keeping in touch.
    21.  One day, all of us will get  separated  from each other; we will miss our conversations of everything & nothing; the dreams that we had.
    22.  Days will pass by, months, years, until this contact becomes rare...
    23.  One day our children will see our pictures and ask 'Who are these people?' And we will smile with invisible tears  because a heart is touched with a strong word and you will say:                                                 'IT WAS THEM THAT I HAD THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE WITH'.....
  11. always delay judgement.
    1. A lovely little girl was holding two apples with both hands.
    2. Her mum came in and softly asked her little daughter with a smile; my sweetie, could you give your mum one of your two apples?
    3. The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple, and then quickly on the other.
    4. The mum felt the smile on her face freeze. She tried hard not to reveal her disappointment.
    5. Then the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum, and said: mummy, here you are. This is the sweeter one.
    6. No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgement.
    7. Give others the privilege to explain themselves.
    8. What you see may not be the reality. Never conclude for others.
    9. Which is why we should never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first.
  12. SOME SOCIAL RULES THAT MAY HELP YOU:
    1. 1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;
    2. 2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.
    3. 3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.
    4. 4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;
    5. 5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;
    6. 6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;
    7. 7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;
    8. 8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;
    9. 9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're;
    10. 10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.
    11. 11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;
    12. 12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;
    13. 13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;
    14. 14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;
    15. 15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;
    16. 16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;
    17. 17. Never give advice until you’re asked;
    18. 18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;
    19. 20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and
    20. 21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren.
  13. Ten truths
    1. 1. You will not live forever.
    2. 2. You are not the most important person in the world.
    3. 3. Your problems are not unique or special.
    4. 4. Time heals all wounds.
    5. 5. Other people's opinions of you do not matter as much as you think they do.
    6. 6. You can't please everyone, so don't try.
    7. 7. Not everything is worth your time or attention.
    8. 8. Life is hard, but it's also beautiful and worth living anyway.
    9. 9) Things will go wrong - it's how you deal with them that matters most
    10. 10) In the end, all that really matters is how you lived your life and what kind of legacy you leave behind you .
  14. BY AGE 40 YOU SHOULD BE SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE THIS:
    1. Someone makes 10x more than you do in a 9-5 job because they have more "leverage" with their work.
    2. Distraction is the greatest killer of success. It stunts and destroys your brain.
    3. You shouldn't take advice from people who are not where you want to be in life.
    4. No one is coming to save your problems. Your life's 100% your responsibility.
    5. You don't need 100 self-help books, all you need is action and self discipline.
    6. Unless you went to college to learn a specific skill (ie. doctor, engineer, lawyer), you can make more money in the next 90 days just learning sales.
    7. No one cares about you. So stop being shy, go out and create your chances.
    8. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete.
    9. Smoking has 0 benefit in your life. This habit will only slow your thinking and lower your focus.
    10. Comfort is the worst addiction and cheap ticket to depression.
    11. Don't tell people more than they need to know, respect your privacy.
    12. Avoid alcohol at all cost. Nothing worse than losing your senses and acting a fool.
    13. Keep your standards high and don't settle for something because it's available.
    14. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.
    15. Train yourself to take nothing personally to save yourself from 99.99% of mental problems.
