(2 of 1974), S. 482- Penal Code (45 of 1860), Ss. 498-A, 304-B- Quashing of proceedings - Deceased committed suicide by jumping off terrace - Plea of accused that he has falsely been implicated by police based upon complaint of parents of deceased- Police refused to hear version of accused or even examine his documents and were reluctant to accept documents from him -Even after police received prurient photographs of deceased, it never carried out any investigation to examine motive of deceased to commit suicide and whether reason put forth by accused was plausible - No investigation conducted to ascertain veracity of allegations against accused- Cyber cell's report in favour of accused regarding objectionable photographs of deceased given to him by alleged paramour of deceased-Deceased committed suicide not on account of any demand for dowry by accused but because of her infidelity, as apparent from transcripts of conversation between her and accused- Registration of case against accused held to be on account of malice-Proceedings liable to be quashed.
