Civil Contempt: Wilful disobedience/ contumacious conduct Wilful noncompliance/non-fulfilment of obligations by a party to the settlement which became a part of consent order of court with specific directions with respect to its bindingness Consideration of, as contempt of court Opportunity to purge/fulfil obligations. Giving effect to settlement and consent order in its letter and spirit.
