The appellant's representative alleged that the selection process conducted by the CBSE for the post of Analyst was not fair as different yard sticks were applied for computing the marks of the candidates in written test and interview. The appellant's candidate Shilpi Verma got 64.5/70 in written test and in interview she was allegedly given only 4/30 marks whereas the selected candidate was given 29/30. The officers submitted that the allegations made by the appellant were baseless and the computing of marks both in the written test/interview was done as per the standard procedure, adopted by the CBSE. The Commission directs the respondent authority to facilitate inspection of the concerned recruitment file to the appellant and allow her to pick up the copies on payment of cost within 3(three) days from the date of hearing. [Both the parties have mutually agreed to have inspection on 1032016 at 2 PM.] The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
