"Education is not a profit making business. Tuition fees should always be affordable": Supreme Court cancels order to increase tuition fees of private medical colleges seven times

 The Supreme Court made this comment while quashing a government order issued by the state of Andhra Pradesh, which had increased the tuition fees of private medical colleges seven times to Rs 24 lakh per annum.  A bench of Justices MR Shah and Sudhanshu Dhulia said the government order to increase tuition fees on the representations made by private medical colleges is 'completely unacceptable and arbitrary and only with a view to favor and/or oblige the private medical colleges'  Is.
