The applicant undersigned is a citizen of India and request that the following information be furnished urgently Under Right to Information act, 2005

I have received by sms on my mobile the above challan number. I own only xxx model vehicle with registration number xxxx

Kindly provide the following information.

1. name and designation of the officer who issued this challan

2.a Did the officer do any verification before issuing the challan

2.b  copy of the information relied on by the officer to issue the challan.

3. What is the Model of the vehicle with registration number XXX as per motor vehicle department records.

4. Whether the department take any action to report or confiscate the offending vehicle bearing duplicate registration number.

5. Does the department have any scheme or procedure to compensate victims of wrong challans for unnecessary expenses and mental agony.

6. When I inquired at Traffic Station              they told me not to pay this challan. In how many days the challan will be cancelled.
