The bench of justices said, "In the absence of any material evidence of interference and involvement in the marital life of the complainant, unless it is clear, it would not be sufficient to convict the person for committing cruelty under section 498A of the IPC."  "May not be enough."  Sanjeev Khanna and S.V.N Bhatti observed.
