Sale deed executed without payment of price is void;  It has no legal effect: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court held that payment of price is an essential part of the sale.

Justice Ajay Rastogi and Justice Abhay S.  Oka said that if a sale deed in respect of immovable property is executed without payment of price and if it does not provide for payment of price at a future date, it amounts to sale in the eyes of law.  Not there.
