FIRE IN LAXMI MARKET COMPLEX & SUGGESTIONS FOR FIRE SAFETY.

01. Arrest the owner of Laxmi Market Complex immediately.

02. Initiate department proceedings against District Fire Safety Officer & PKDA Secretary for their duty negligence.

03. Seal all shopping complexes & hotels in Puri till they obtain a Fire Safety Certificate.

04. Provide training to hotel and shopping complexes employees on fire safety.

05. Periodical inspection of Fire Extinguisher should be done and record should be maintained by owners and produce those records on demand.

06. Demolish all the old & unauthorised Guesthouse/hotels/shopping complexes immediately for the safety of pilgrims and local public.

07. Provide proper training to Firemen.

08. Provide adequate Fire Safety Equipment & appropriate Firefighting Equipment to Firemen.

09. Every Hotel and shopping complexes must build WATER RESERVES in the complex to meet the immediate water requirements during fire incident.
