advocate -defenition

An advocate may practice before any court, authority, or person in India having the right to receive evidence.  If a person is not an advocate, he can only plead his case on the orders of the court, but cannot practice law.

It is prohibited for advocates to do any other business along with law business (advocacy).  An advocate can practice only one business at a time, that is, he cannot do any other business with him,

 Persons doing other profession are not entitled to enroll their names in the rolls of the Bar Council.
