Doctors cannot hesitate in treating a seriously injured person.

Even if there is no money, the doctor will have to provide treatment, here is the law

 The Supreme Court had said that even if the patient does not have money, the doctor or hospital will neither delay nor refuse to treat him.  Even under the Professional Conduct Regulation of the Indian Medical Council, a doctor cannot refuse to treat a patient.

Doctors will have to provide free treatment to rape victims and acid attack victims.

If you are suffering from any serious illness and go to a hospital or clinic for treatment, then it is the legal duty of the doctor to treat you with utmost care.  If the doctor refuses to treat you, you can teach him a lesson by taking the help of law.

 +The right to get treatment is also included in the fundamental rights granted under Article 21 of the Constitution.  In the case of Parmanand Katara vs. Union of India, the Supreme Court had said that no doctor or hospital can refuse to treat a seriously injured patient.  It is the legal duty of doctors and hospitals to provide emergency medical care to patients who are seriously injured or suffering from serious illness.*

The Supreme Court had said that even if the patient does not have money, the doctor or hospital will neither delay nor refuse to treat him.  The first priority of the doctor should be to treat the patient immediately, so that the patient can be saved.
