Sir,
Sub: Your demand to remit 650 towards the cost of 10 LED bulbs purportedly supplied to me on 23-01-2021-Consumer No. 11563089999
I am in receipt of your letter No A5/5/50 dated 01-09-2023 acknowledged by my son Shri. {Name} In this connection I have the following objections;
1. It is alleged in your above letter that I have purchased 10 LED bulbs on 23-01-2021 from you on credit basis. You may note that as a longstanding consumer of KSEB, I hereby deny your allegation. I have not directly purchased any LED bulbs from you.
2. You have also threatened me to disconnect electricity connection on failure of payment and it is your sinister motive to intimidate me.
3. Even though the cost of the bulbs were shown in the electricity bills, I was not allowed to pay the amount through online mode. I am not in a position to understand why you prevented me to pay the amount along with usual electricity consumption bill.
4. At the time of delivery of the bulbs, it was informed that bulbs are supplied free of cost, as the entire cost of the bulbs are borne by Central Government. You have also failed to provide me the GST bill of the bulbs at the time of delivery. In this connection you may also refer to the news report appeared in Hindu paper on 14-12-2022.
5. I am prepared to pay the bill amount provided you allow payment thorough online mode or issue GST bill for the bulbs.
6. Any further coercive steps in this matter from your end, especially illegal power disconnection, shall invite legal action and I hereby give you notice to desist from such sinister activities.
7. You may provide the copy of credit invoice of the LED bulb, copy of agreement entered with you for payment, copy of Government order to recover the amount of the bulbs for perusal.
Yours faithfully
