Yes, it is legally allowed to fight a case by yourself. This is termed as Party-in-Person in the legal parlance. Section 32 of the Advocate Act states that any person other than an enrolled member of the Bar Council can represent cases in courts but with the permission of the court which means, either the Administration head of court who is the Registrar General or the Bench which means the Judge.
