Acceptance of Awards by State Government Employees

Sub:—Kerala Government Servants' Conduct Rules, 1960—Acceptance of Awards by State Government Employees—Instructions issued. As per rule 6 of Kerala Government Servants' Conduct Rule, 1960 no Government Servant shall, except with the previous sanction of Government accept or permit any member of his family to accept directly or indirectly on his or on behalf of any other person, any gift gratuity or reward from a person not related to him. In the circumstances all Government employees are instructed that they should not accept awards of any kind from any personlnational or international orgnisation without obtaining prior sanction of the Government.
